About Me

I am a medical doctor who combines drug- & psycho- therapy to provide comprehensive integrated treatment for all sex related problems. I am an effective counselor of sex, marriage and relationship.

I passed my M.B.B.S. from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in 1976. I did a Post Graduate Certificate Course in Psychiatry and Psychosexual Medicine from AKN Sinha Institute, New Delhi and Pre-Marriage Orientation Counselling for Happy Married Life from the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi. I am a member of American College of Counselors Association, USA and also a member of Council of Sex Education & Parenthood (International).

I have participated in various Sexology conferences including Asia Pacific Sexology conference, and have chaired the scientific sessions.

I have interacted with some of the best sexologists world-over, including at USA with Dr Eli Coleman, Director Sexuality Prog, University of Minnesota, and at Singapore with Dr. Ganesh Adaikan, Professor and Head of Reproductive Pharmacology / Sexual Medicine and Clinical Sexologist, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, National University.

I have been a Consultant Psycho-Sexual Medicine at Indian Spinal Injuries Center, Vasant Kunj and has interacted with prominent Sexologists in India like Dr Prakash Kothari, Dr Watsa, Dr Reddy, Dr Prabhu, Late Dr Bhatt, Dr Nawal Kishore etc.

I served for 21 years in the Army & had the privilege of working in the most prestigious hospitals (including Army Hospital & Base Hospital, Delhi- each over 1000 bedded). I acquired valuable experience in dealing with High Altitude Sexual Dysfunction in Army. I have been decorated with the Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India.

I have a strong presence in media- Print, TV & Radio (including Voice of America) has articles published in journals and has appeared on many television programmes

I have given presentations on various prestigious forums which include ISIC, Medifest (once at Pragati Maidan & then at NSAC Complex, PUSA), Rotary (female) Club, Rotary Camps, Gynaecological Update (Stress in Menopause), DMA, Annual Conventions IMA , Diabetic Forum of IMA (East Delhi). He has also been a Panelist on various forums including Voice of America.

I have been the Editor of 'VISION', the Medical Bulletin of IMA, JP Janak Puri and have also written articles for the magazine Women's Era.

Awards

I was awarded Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) by PRESIDENT OF INDIA, for rendering exemplary and distinguished service of exceptional order.

I also received appreciation for his work as Editor of ‘VISION’, the Medical Bulletin of IMA, Janak Puri; and as Panelist for VOA (Voice of America).
